General observation
There is nothing quite like telling someone about HTTP caching, DNS caching, mail servers, HTTP servers, IP masquerading and a bunch of other services he wants on his new Intranet, and hearing him ask incredulously, "and the free RedHat disc I got does ALL off THAT?!" Yup. Now, if anyone could just tell me how to compile a non-static libc5 build of something on a RH6.0 system... Linux+SQUID assistance needed
I want to convince my company ( Mekorot ) to use LINUX in one of our SCADA projects, but i need to be sure that LINUX will be able to serve us. If anyone can help me giving an expert opinion for the network configuration plz let me know at [EMAIL PROTECTED] and i will e-mail you the project description. P.S - I am rather novice to Linux, but i performed about 7 successful installations of RH including masquarading/forwarding and even succeeded to fool up the corporate firewall...
