Re: [Lubuntu-desktop] Notification Daemon
Aloha Lee, I think it should be configurable per app. And maybe the notify-osd (if I remember correctly) is more to your liking. Afaik it doesn't tell you when a file is downloaded. Other then that I can't help. Re: [Lubuntu-desktop] Feedback after Lubuntu live test
Aloha Theodor, Which version did you try, alpha 1 of Oneiric? It has a known issue with that and you only need to command startlubuntu if I'm not mistaken. Irregardless if my solution worked, we'd like to know which version it was. That way the devs can better track the error. And if my solution worked, than also mention it in your reply. Aloha mailboxes2002 (couldn't find your name anywhere =) ), What didn't function after those commands? Did you get any errors? Was it preformed on a normal desktop installation of Lucid? Re: [Lubuntu-desktop] Notification Daemon
I know all the flavors of Ubuntu do this. IMO these popups should be configurable. In XP there's a registry hack when you don't want to see the equivalent. Shouldn't there be a way in Lubuntu?
