To test replace the file pdfview.exe on your system with this one: http://ftp.lyx.de/LyX%202.1.3/pdfview.exe - I read that you now use SumatraPDF to view PDFs. This is a nice program but unfortunately it cannot display PDF annotations correctly and also not PDF forms. regards Uwe

An upgrade of Adobe reader would not affect LyX's default PDF reader, and LyX prefers Sumatra. Scott
