If I knew what the problem was, I could contact Runbox and maybe get a fix from their end. [MlMt] Correct default contextual from behavior
In a few (unfortunately very common) cases, MailMate has learned the wrong “From” address to use with certain contacts. I email cli...@example.com 10-20 times/day. emails to cli...@example.com should always come from m...@thismail.com, but whenever I add cli...@example.com to the “To” field, it changes the “From” to h...@thatmail.com. A better (and cleaner) approach would be to make the action independent of the conditions. The action could then be something like: Move to Related Mailbox based on [Header] in [Mailbox] Benny, When [Header] means the actual functionality we have for filtering on “header contained info” then this will be a great feature. The “Mailbox” could be any smart or IMAP mailbox/account. It would trigger MailMate to look for the first message in Mailbox with the same header value. When found, the new message would be moved to the same IMAP mailbox as the found message. It would be like an IMAP mailbox variant of the Submailboxes feature for smart mailboxes. This would allow a worst case near-linear running time if a large number of messages are “moved” (linear in terms of the size of the mailbox used in the action). Note that in this case there would be no need for a condition for the rule except for maybe limiting the messages triggering the action. A somewhat related feature would allow simply creating IMAP mailboxes based on a header value: Move to Submailbox of [IMAP Mailbox/Account] based on [Header] This would be a nice to have, and I already see some use for it. I would like to process incoming emails and if they have attachments which meet a certain criteria (name, subject contains…, from email address etc) have the attachments automatically saved in Dropbox. The strange “All Message Subparts” mailbox (under “All Messages”) can be used to do this, but it's tricky. You'll need to first create a smart mailbox matching the emails you need. Then create another smart mailbox based on “All Messages Subparts” which matches any parts for which the root part is in the first smart mailbox. It looks like this:  You can add other conditions here, especially with regard to the Content-Type, e.g., only those matching `image` or `application/pdf`. Finally, add a rule to export to the second smart mailbox. I think you need the latest beta in order to get proper filenames for these files. If the “Export to Folder” is only for email can anyone advise another way to achieve this?
