126/116 wheels are compatible with 123 chassis.
195/70 tires often have a recommended rim width of 5.0-6.5, with 6.0 being 
ideal.

[MBZ] bundt style wheels

I've got an '84 300D & an '85 300TD, both with the bundt style forged alloy 
wheels (6J x 14 H2) and am looking into locating wheels at a recycler in order 
to install a full set of snow tires.  The local yard appears to have an SD 
(W126) and the closest I can tell from the books I have is that these wheels 
would be of the 6 1/2 x 14 H2 variety and my question may be rather obvious but 
I'll ask it anyway - are the 
6 1/2 x 14 H2 wheels compatible with my W123 cars and 195 70/14 tires?
