So, if these guys are buying Mobil 1 base stock, blending it with other "oil" and you trust Mobil 1 products then why take a chance on this other stuff? Particularly since - to be ASE certified, it has to be 100% compatible with everything else on the market which also means that they all have the same additive package with a few tweaks? In other words, the only real difference is the base stock which brings me back to my original question At least if you run Rotello-T or Dello, you know that you are running 100% Dino oil and you are paying less accordingly. With a blend, are you buying 80% Mobil 1 base stock or is it 60%? Or maybe its 20% Mobil 1 base stock?
