G'Day Uwe What a fantastic display. Thank you for sharing, much appreciated. They show nice colors and sometimes special structures well used for petrogaphic studies. But there is an other possibility to study the micro structure of minerals, - the use of a reflecting light microscope with polarising and color selecting filters. This images are ever very colorful too and this colors are mostly real. Reflecting microscope studies allow you to detect on a certain slice thousands of regions, - day for day new structures and if you have seen enough you must turn your probe only an a certain angle and the microworld you see is every time a new one.
