again) and i used to be a semi-pothead but ive quit for now and i stopped
following all professional sports like 4 years ago but i still kinda dig
the sports themselves (except football) and i played basketball kinda for
the first time in years a few days ago.. oh yeah i tripped last weekend if
were keeping tabs on that too.. it was lotsa fun but i doubt ill be doing
it again anytime soon.. hey why havent my teachers given us midterm grades

i've been wondering that myself...or rather, the number of MM fans who
do. i
hope you realize the statistical fallaciousness of taking a random
sampling of
MM fans and applying it to the rest of indie rockdom. especially given the
subject material and nature of MM (i.e. how many songs about drinking they
have...not to mention various amphetamines); but, all this logic aside, i'd
love to count myself among those who tokes and drinks--in fact, been
drinkin'
seven and seven (seagram's 7 and 7-up, in case ya didn't know) and
hitting the
bong all day. in celebration of finishing midterms and the maryland vs.
unc
game. which, since we (or at least two of us) are on this off-topic topic,
how many people here actually like sports? i wouldn't figure many, but
i've
 been suprised in the past..

this is vaguely on topic:

i used to smoke a lot of pot. Like, i was stoned or two years straight. A lot
of my friends seem to think music sounds better stoned. i dont. i think it
sounds worse. any thoughts?

i used to think hiphop beats sounded better stoned, but then i realised i
could actually get something out of the music sober, as opposed to
droopy-liddely bobbing my head and thinking "mn... this is pretty
cool..."
but i doubt being stoned would do much for indierock.
