Does any one use Pub/Sub with WEbLogic
We use Pub/Sub (MA0C) with normal MQRFH and MQMD headers. Then we are trying to have WebLogic's JMS pub/sub integrate with this i.e. have a queue on weblogic be the subscriber stream queue for pub/sub on mqseries. How do we do this? Can WebLogic messaging bridge solve this problem? MA0C Support after Dec 31 2002 - IBM Please comment
Can any IBM folks from Hursley or involved with MQSeries comment on support for MA0C. Is there any plan to extend support for it after Dec 31st 2002. Its a support pac very widely used, so would be surprised if support is withdrawn after that. Integrating J2EE and Non-J2EE Publish/Subscribe
We are using MA0C Pub/Sub service pack. So far we have been publishing events only to non-java, non-j2ee applications. So it was easy for these non-j2ee, non-java applications to get the events. But now we are trying to integrate this with WebLogic JMS pub/sub. How do we do this? Even if we dont integrate with weblogic JMS, how can a java program (using the mqseries java api), strip the data portion from the message. The data part of the buffer for a pub/sub message contains the name/value pair - how do they ignore or process it? Any help appreciated. MQRFH header removal using MQSeries for Java
We are publishing events through the MQ Pub/Sub Broker, to a Java client. The Java client needs to remove the RFH header which is variable length. How can it do it and separate the data out? Any help appreciated. Re: MQSeries PUB/SUB
Steve We have it running in production without any problems. Do you have the SYSTEM queues required for running the broker? End the queue manager, see if any ipc's are hanging (using ipcs command). If they are remove them. Then start the queue manager and then start the broker. We've installed SupportPacs - MA0C (MQSeries - Publish/Subscribe) and MA0F (MQSeries Application Messaging Interface). We seem to have a problem after we've created and started a QMGR and we attempt to start the broker (strmqbrk -m QMgrName). We receive the message - 'MQSeries message broker for queue manager PUBSUB not active.' The QMGR error logs contains the following error - "An attempt has been made to run the MQSeries message broker (PUBSUB) but the broker has ended for reason '5800: (Unexpected Error)'." MQSeries Pub/Sub and Weblogic
We have a MQSeries Pub/sub broker (MA0C) which publishes messages. We want the capability for a Weblogic application which uses JMS to subscribe to it using durable subscriptions. Can someone point to me step-by-step how we do it? We have done the following so far - downloaded MA88. Created the JMS system queues. Now what do we do? Do we have to install the MQSeries client on the machine where Weblogic is installed?? Thanks for all the help. -Ramnath Cidambi Instructions for managing your mailing list subscription are provided in the Listserv General Users Guide available at http://www.lsoft.com Archive: http://vm.akh-wien.ac.at/MQSeries.archive
