Hi,

just wanted to bring this topic to the top... are there any plans to

[MLO] due 30 days task view with all parents for items

2016-10-17 Thread MG
Hi,

I want to know if it's possible for each item to show

   - plant tree
  - buy shovel
 - go to store

as:

plant tree - buy shovel - go to store

in the active task or the due 30 days active view. Now it just shows "go to
store" (the last item in the hierarchy).

I dont want to mess with the parents setting them as projects etc. if not
needed

Thanks, i've been looking for months now in the settings and can't find it

Re: [MLO] Due Next 7 Days (View) vs. Custom Due Date (View)

2016-10-17 Thread Dwight
Hi, MG. I am not sure that I completely understand what you are asking.
But I think that you have a view that shows the items you want
displayed, and you want to have it grouped by due date. To accomplish
this, you would look at the view details in the left sidebar, and find
the section called "group and sort". Click on the "group by" button, and
in the Group By window that pops up, select "due date".

If this is not what you wanted or if this does not work, please write
back and explain. Thanks.

HI,

Regarding the subject of this post, I would like to know where is the detail
regarding creation of a Custom view based on dates for the next 7, or
whatever, days I define to be filtered, so that it shows the corresponding date
(grouping the respective tasks for that date, and day of the week).

I mean, in the predefined view "Due Next 7 days" in the grouping by "Due Date"
we get the date and the day of the week, what I think is good, but when I create a custom view based
on the same settings (like coping everything) I do not get the same visualization.

Why?

Re: [MLO] Re: How do I create a view that shows (just) all tasks which are dependent on something?

2016-10-17 Thread Dwight
Hey John. My impression is that you are very strongly focused on your
keyboard, using it for all of your communication with your computer, to
the exclusion of mice, touchscreens, joysticks, styluses, etc. Someone
as reliant on the keyboard as you deserves a fully functional 86-key
keyboard, so you can stop struggling to express nonexistent keys. I am
currently very happy with this keyboard:

Suffice-it to say that if I hit Alt-F6 a few times and leave the
Dependency section open and if I then hit tab Once, then focus (blue

theory on Add?) and hitting tab twice focus goest onto the Max Time:
field within the Effort section (if that is open). Hitting tab once
again the focus is in theory back on Add.

My keyboard (Logitech MK700) it has no Context Menu key. However if I
hit FN key+"Print Screen" which is supposed to give the Context Menu
absolutely nothing happens.

Nor, FWIW, does it if I had hit the Enter key.

Re: [MLO] Next actions view on desktop & android discrepancies

2016-10-17 Thread Dwight Arthur
Hi, Chris. Your situation seems extraordinarily weird, which makes me
suspect that something simple is way out of whack. I have some questions.

The windows view shows many more tasks. Is this content correct?

If you use other views, especially including All Tasks, does the content
across the two platforms match?

Please look one more time at the project 'Note case note file' on Android.
Is the project status still 'not started'?

Does the project 'note case note file' have any child items that are projects?

While your view's task list is onscreen please expand the menu at the
bottom of the screen and see if the Zoom Out icon is active and if so try
tapping.

Please look at the three special filters and if any are active, clear them.
They are the text filter in the menu at top of screen, also the flag filter
and the context filter in the menu at bottom.

That's all the ideas I have.

Hey guys. I hope someone can help as I'm tearing my hair out trying to get
my 'next actions' view on MLO Android to display correctly.

I have the same conditions set on the desktop view as I do (to the best of
my knowledge). However, whilst the desktop displays correctly, the android
view doesn't. I've attached screencaps to verify.

The Android 'next actions' view is weird because it's only showing two
items from a whole plethora of tasks - 'encrypt media' is part of a project
that is in progress, but 'copy evernote into notecase' is a project that is
'not started'.

Do you reckon this is a bug, or am I missing something.

Thanks in advance.

[MLO] Re: Today View graphs are not working on Android

I've experienced this very frustrating issue too with the Today View. I
found it helped if I went to Setting, General settings, Scrolling setup,
and set "Use fast scrolling" to be on.
