Something about them thinking that the MyhtTV format is not avalid format or something. Anyway, the upshot is that you'll always need to apply this patched version manually after avery XBMC upgrade.___mythtv-users mailing listmythtv-users@mythtv.org http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users ___ mythtv-users mailing list mythtv-users@mythtv.org http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users

I've only had consistant good luck with T3CH's builds, they are barebone builds with limited addons, the script downloader and a couple other changes. I recommend using his builds. He doesn't do as many as some of the other releases, but they are always solid builds. -- Steve ___ mythtv-users mailing list mythtv-users@mythtv.org http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users

Casey, Thanks for the info. Regarding the XBMC builds, I noticed on xbins that there was a recent build that was ~14Mb and a slightly older build that was ~43Mb. What's up with that?!? I didn't see any difference in the release notes but at 3 times the size, there must be a difference?!? -- MikeOn 11/29/05, Casey Dunn <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: This guide (http://mahune.org/archive/2005/05/07/mythtv-and-xbox/) worked for me. The easy answer is to google xbmc t3ch; he builds about once a week so get something recent. Then you'll just ftp it in, nautilus and windows don'twork well for that so use some kind of ftp client. Most of the xbox ftp servers support a limited number of connections and when you drop a directory in therethe file browser trys to open a bunch of concurrentconnections and then fails when the xbox reports toomany users. http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=464128___mythtv-users mailing listmythtv-users@mythtv.org http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users ___ mythtv-users mailing list mythtv-users@mythtv.org http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users
