[nant-dev] id/idref in NAnt

2002-06-21 Thread Kevin Dente

Has anybody looked at adding the id/idref of Ant to
NAnt? It's looking to me like very useful feature.

For those who aren't familiar with it, Ant let's you
assign ids to certain elements (like FileSets,
DirSets, FileLists, etc), and then reference those in
other build files. I can definitely see it being
useful in the new OptionSet class, for example.

[nant-dev] removing forum

2002-06-21 Thread Scott Hernandez

Id like to get an idea if people think now is a good
time to remove the sourceforge Open Discussion forum. It seems
like people are starting to use the nant-users mailing list and the forum has
not got much traffic lately.

Comments? Objections?

+1...

I agree, listserv's are much easier to keep up with anyway. I would rather the discussion come to me, than me go to the discussion...

Good idea. Its confusing to have two places to post and IMHO the
sourceforge forum UI is pretty crappy.
