[ns] pls help me
Hi, I am doing my project in adhoc networks. I simulate the networking environment using ns2 simulator. My project is preventing Denial of Service (DoS) attacks using game theory concept along with Watchlist mechanism and Utility Dynamic Source Routing (UDSR). These two mechanisms are based on cooperation and reputation concepts. Cooperation means how close the two nodes are and reputation is like some reward give to node if that node forward the incoming packets to their neighbour without dropping any packets. I need your help regarding this. Please help me by giving source code or other information related to how to proceed. I am eagerly waiting for your reply. Regards Kumari.

Ok, I am using perl 5.8 now. But again an error is happening... :-/ Well, I am trying to follow the tutorial http://www.monarch.cs.cmu.edu/cmu-ns.html But when I put the command "perl Makefile.PL" this error is showed: ERROR from evaluation of perl/Tk400.200/Pod/Makefile.PL: Modification of a read-only value attempted at /usr/share/perl/5.8/Carp/Heavy.pm line 45. I am a newbye in this things... it seems like a simple problem but i haven't solved it yet... I don't know if is the problem, but i tryed to change the permissions of the files Heavy.pm and Makefile.PL. I put the 777 permission in these files but i didn't work. So, if you can help me... [ns] problem with perl5.002 installation - help me!!!
Hi, i am trying to install perl5.002 and after this i will install perl/tk 400.200 because i want to install ad-hockey. but when i put the command make to perl5.002 it shows me an error: make: ***without rule to process the target '', its necessary ' miniperlmain.o'. You need to use "gdb" with the core file generated from the segmentation fault. [ns] Channel class in ns2.29
Hello, The channel class implementation in ns-doc(chapter 14, 'Local Area Networks') lists a lot of functions, when I refer back to channel.h code ( /mac) in ns-2.29 most of them are commented out. Am I missing something here ? Thanks, -- Goutham
