Re: [NTG-context] Status of moderncv with ConTeXt ?
it worked flawlesly dear John. Thank you. PS: how can we do to enrich the environnement and use it as a full-featured replacement of the older module? Re: [NTG-context] [DKIM] Re: [DKIM] circuitikz module seems broken
I did replace the attached .mkxl files now in the correct directory tree together with the rest of all m-xyz.mkxl module files. The same error message appears and i’m back at square one. asdf-error.log Description: Binary data asdf.log Description: Binary data asdf.tex Description: Binary data > 4 dec. 2021 kl. 10:05 skrev Henning Hraban Ramm via ntg-context > : > > Am 04.12.21 um 00:27 schrieb Aditya Mahajan via ntg-context: >> Not placed at the right place. Re: [NTG-context] Status of moderncv with ConTeXt ?
Laurent Steffan via ntg-context writes: Hello, In the deprecated document about "Correspondence" dated 2010, the chapter on résumés describes a ConTeXt reimplementation of the moderncv package. Is this still usable, and if so, where can I get the relevant files ? Thanks in advance Laurent Steffan Hi all I am a recent convert to ConTeXt and have been enjoying the ride. I was also not able to get it to work. So, I created a simplified version which compiles on the latest LMTX version of ConTeXt. I am including a copy here in case it is of interest to anyone else. The files included are resume-style, resume-template, and cover-context. This is my first post so hopefully the attachments come through OK. resume-template.tex Description: TeX document resume-style.tex Description: TeX document cover-context.tex Description: TeX document Regards John Lord ___ If your question is of interest to others as well, please add an entry to the Wiki! maillist : ntg-context@ntg.nl / http://www.ntg.nl/mailman/listinfo/ntg-context webpage : http://www.pragma-ade.nl / http://context.aanhet.net archive : https://bitbucket.org/phg/context-mirror/commits/ wiki : http://contextgarden.net ___

BTW OT, I wouldn’t suggest to use texmf-local or texmf-project; while these are never overwritten by an update, you must copy them to a new installation. I prefer ~/texmf for my personal fonts, modules etc., because it’s independent of the ConTeXt installation I’m currently using, while it’s still a valid texmf tree searched by default.
