[NTG-context] PDF forms not creating proper children
Hello, I currently try to build a document with AcroForms, e.g., the examples from [1] also linked in the Wiki. The most recent example is in the form/ subdirectory and dated mid 2020. However, when building the file(s) with my ConTeXt distribution the file created is broken, in comparison to the PDF checked in into the Git. The more obvious difference is that the PDF in the repository can be filled in the Firefox 89 beta, while the other PDF doesn't even display the fields as forms. Running pdfinfo also yields: > Syntax Error: Form field child is not a dictionary I suspect that due to some breakage the forms children aren't set in the AcroForms dictionary anymore? [NTG-context] \doifelseoddpage not working as expected
Dear all,
I need something like \doifelseoddpage, but this does not work as
expected. See below example. You will notice that on page two you
still get the ODD text, with page number 1.
What's going on? Is there a proper way to detect what page I'm on?

Both LuaTeX and XeTeX fail (two different bugs), and I have no idea
why that happens. (Why are the map files loaded without calling the
[ec] encoding in XeTeX? And what's wrong with LuaTeX reading the

[NTG-context] All NUL files in the Context distribution
Hi, I was looking into the SciTE setup when I found that tex/texmf-context/context/data/scite/context/scite-context-internal.properties only contained NUL bytes. Deleting and reinstalling doesn't fix it. I have now checked the other files there and these files seem to have gotten corrupted at some point. [NTG-context] also install problems (luatex)
Hi, I also don't manage to install luatex. I've downloaded the mswincontext and unzipped it to c:\context 1. I run setuptex 2. texexec --make --all --luatex (no output on the command line) 3. luatools --generate the output is attached below 4. luatools --ini --compile --verbose cont-en the logfile is attached as well when I now try to compile a file texexec --verbose --luatex demo-tex.tex gives no output to the command line and also no pdf. What do I miss? Any help is welcome. [NTG-context] testing TeX Live 2011
Hello, apart from a pending fix for TeX Live installer (shell script install-tl) which writes out a proper texmfcnf.lua based on what user enters as his/her preferences for locations of TEXMFHOME etc. (if you don't touch any settings, this is not too important and if you do, you can manually fix the file) and some yet-to-be-made decision about when to run 'mtxrun --generate (which you can also ignore and simply run mtxrun --generate by hand), ConTeXt in TeX Live 2011 should work now, thanks to all the effort that Taco in particular has put into this. If anyone is willing to help to work on man pages, please feel free to volunteer (context man page has already been committed, mtxrun not, but both of them need more input). The following is the list of modules. If you miss any, it is now the best time to ask.
