[Openerp-community] Stock reservation with serial numbers
Dear Quentin, One of the things I'm often asked for regarding the warehouse management is: could the procurement scheduler please assign production lots like it assigns source locations and quantities? Is this going to happen in the new WMS code? If not, how hard do you think it would be to implement? Would you have any guiding thought to share if we wanted to give it a try? Quentin, Lionel, Stockreservation with serialnumber for a limited time (eg 1 or 2 days) even before orderconfirmation would also be nice. People that sell mobile devices need this feature whole the time. We use now stock_reserve and stock_reserve_sale from c2c (but there is serial number standard not implemented). Peter Agreed, but this is not something for the core addons I think. This kind of reservation can be a big mess when the orders change (I'd fear make-to-order production nightmares for instance).
