[openmeetings-user] Red5 issue (Installing OpenMeetings under Windows)

2011-04-22 Thread CZ
Hello,

I am new to OpenMeetings. I am trying to it today
(openmeetings_1_6_2_r3675) but am having some trouble:

I have XAMPP installed with Apache and MySQL server on. I installed
Red5 to C:\Red5\ and have placed openmeetings in the webapps folder. I
have configured the hibernate.xml file with jdbc driver and dialect as
org.openmeetings.app.hibernate.utils.MySQL5MyISAMDialect

However when I run C:\Red5\red5.bat, it goes through some actions then
get stuck with some lines of

Logger context selector method found
Logger context selector method found
Logger context selector method found

Logger context selector method found

, Then after some minutes it gets stuck again with a message saying

DEBUG 04-21 22:21:54.517 Sessionmanagement.java 309529 569
org.openmeetings.app.data.basic.Sessionmanagement
[Red5_Scheduler_Worker-3] - Sessions To Delete :: 0

and afterwards there is just more of these DEBUG messages for hours:

DEBUG 04-21 22:26:54.517 Sessionmanagement.java 609529 569
org.openmeetings.app.data.basic.Sessionmanagement
[Red5_Scheduler_Worker-3] - Sessions To Delete :: 0

About 6 or 7 of them over the past hour.

Please note that I went into phpmyadmin and found that there are 51
tables populated in the openmeetings database. So I guess at least
some part is working

Please let me know how to proceed.

Thanks!

 ...thanks Sebastian,

I made a new installation of Squeeze with kernel Linux 2.6.32-5,
without amd64, and it is the same.

Upload pdf and images is right, but .txt, .odt, .rtf.emploied more
 than 2 minutes
even the file have writed two words only.

Debian 6 - Squeeze is strange for me.

If somebody have OpenMeetings in Squeeze installed please tell me how
 do it.

 Thank you!

  I think ImageMagick does it.

   Hi Sebastian y all,

   Squeeze a new installation.
All packages and libraries for OpenMeetings installed.

Everything works fine except when go in the room and upload rtf, text
files o... if upload images and pdf files everything is goeing right.
So, is OpenOffice that uses a very long time to convert those
   files ... if converted.

I uninstalled OpenOffice and installed  LibreOffice ... just the same
   problem.
It is on Debian 6 Squeeze, because in another distro based on Debian
   6, Pure 3.0,
everything works right and it is with Open Java not Sun Java.

Squeeze has installed in my computer the Linux kernel 6.2.32-5-amd64,
   but 32-bit architecture.

   Any idea why?

   Thank you
