I added my name to an openstack wiki page for this express purpose some
time ago, apparently the wrong one, which I can find no reference to now.

That said, I am willing to be a mentor for a Horizon focused intern, if
inability to find the correct wiki pages isn't a limiting factor.

[openstack-dev] [Horizon] Outreachy call for mentor

2015-04-22 Thread Victoria Martínez de la Cruz
Hi all,

Horizon folks, we have a really good Outreachy candidate interested in
working with you. The internship is from May 25th to August 25th, and
interns are expected to work full time on their projects. Being a mentor
should not be time consuming, we expect interns to be able to do their
tasks independently and to solve the blockers they might find with the help
of the community. I will be mentoring an applicant this round and, if time
is a problem, I offer to help with this applicant as well.

The announcement of accepted participants is soon, so this is a real last
minute call.

Outreachy is an internship targeted to anyone who identifies as a woman and
OpenStack has been participating on it for about two years now. We had
really good participants and many important features had been added as part
of this program. For more details on OpenStack participation on Outreachy,
check out the OpenStack Outreachy wiki page [0] and the Outreachy official
site [1].

If you decide you want to mentor, please reach me and I'll guide you
through the process.

Please, let me know if you have any doubt or concern.

Thanks all,

Victoria
