I also updated my driver to the newest.  it is still the same.
my quicktime version is 7.3. Is it too old?

That explains the white rectangle.
The 8800 definitively supports texture rectangles.  Maybe you need to update 
your driver?

Other examples run fine. I already compiled with quicktime plugins.
my graphics card is Nvidia geforce 8800 GTX

No one will be able to help you unless you provide more information.  Key
details are graphics card/graphics driver.  Also do other examples run
fine?  Have you compiled with the ffmpeg or quicktime plugins?  What exactly
command line options are you using?

Seems to work fine. As Stephan stated make sure that you
have the QuickTime SDK etc and double check that the plugin
actually builds and exists in bin\osgplugins-2.4.0\osgdb_qt.dll

Also is your .mov file somewhere that OSG can find it in the
OSG_FILE_PATH or in the CWD? Again setting the debug level will
be the best judge as to what is going wrong.

and lib paths to your quicktime sdk and rebuild the osg-quicktime-plugin
