Hello, If your sound card has "Stereo Mix"or "What you hear" it is very easy, just record what goes through your sound card. If not, I believe you need the Pro version of Total Recorder, then go to Options and Recording source and parameters; there to Advanced and select Mixing source and soundboard. Alternatively, you need software such as Virtual Cable so as to be able to record incoming and outgoing Skype sound. No, I don't think the setting is memorised, I have that same thing happen here, I just go and change it again where appropriate. In my situation I might prefer VLC play through my default computer speakers, I don't want this however if I'm watching a recorded TV show, I then switch VLC to play through my Denon AVR2113. . Hi all. As we are on that vlc player. I need to change the sound card in vlc but when i do it and close it . If i open it up it defaulting back to the defolt sound card.
