Re: My first podcast
yes, please send me a copy of your podcast. i would be very happy. regards iqbal - Original Message - From: "chris hallsworth" To: Sent: Tuesday, May 18, 2010 5:30 AM Subject: My first ,m,podcast Hello all, I have done my first professional recording of a JAWS Tandem session, as part of my project. If anyone wants a copy, which is in MP3 format, please let me know. I plan to upload it to Dropbox so that I can give you the link via the groups, rather than attaching it on or off the groups, as the MP3 is quite large (over 16MB in size). The recording was done using GoldWave 5.56, and so was the editing, for example removing silence or unwanted audio. Many thanks in advance for any offers. dear Dean, i am so happy and grateful for your quick response. i have tpb reader only. can i turn mp3 into daisy format or do i need any other software to do that? with best regard iqbal - Original Message - From: "dean martineau" To: "'PC Audio Discussion List'" Sent: Wednesday, October 07, 2009 4:02 PM Subject: RE: is there any player which can help to jump any specific place ina long audio or will start from the last point aftershutting down and and when restarting again? Hello. A very good player for this is Winamp, especially if you use any fairly recent version of JAWS or Window-Eyes version 7 or later. For instance, with these screen readers running and using Winamp, before you shut down the computer, set a time marker. Now you can return to that same position very easily. Even if you don't do that, you can easily jump to any time position in the file. You can also easily turn the book into a DAISY book with a free tool, then use a DAISY reader on the computer; I can research the links for you to do that if you want.
