Yep, I recognize that one, but just to see the positive side of it my youngest was investigated for ADHD (and during the interviews they almost gave me the same diagnosis), but they found that he was simply a lot more intelligent than the rest of the children. He never needed to concentrate, so he never learned it. There are statistics indicating a correlation between (wrong) ADHD diagnosis and IQ. Give him a task he likes he can concentrate for hours, which is much better than giving him medication to make him more normal. Re: OT: age acrtivated ADHD
Well of course this little vid has nothing to do with actual ADHD.. thats just the joke of it... I do have mild ADHD - and, yes, given something I am intensely interested in nothing can distract me - or at least that was so when I was younger. But all of us of a certain age or older have experienced at least some version of what this film amusingly but accurately depicts. No, I don't want any dope either :_) ann On 7/17/2011 17:26, DagT wrote: Den 17. juli 2011 kl. 21.59 skrev Godfrey DiGiorgi: On Sat, Jul 16, 2011 at 7:10 AM, Ann Sanfedeleann...@nyc.rr.com wrote: right on... unfortunately! I wish my life was that interesting. It's interesting to watch the film. Living it you have all the same challenges tomorrow. At least those you run across in your tours of the domicile. And the day afterwards too. Eventually, the bills are late, the remote is in the car, the plants die, which you don't notice because you still can't find you glasses. But the car is clean, because you watered it! From a sermon I heard: A pastor goes to visit an elderly parishioner. Mildred she says, you need to pay more attention to the hereafter! Pastor, she says, I think about the hereafter all the time. I go into the kitchen and I wonder, what am I here after? I go to my bedroom and I wonder, what am I here after?
