Had to post the "Bing" translation - it's more like Monty Python than Monty Python! Jostein's English is much better than Microsoft's! Humleflue - Bee-fly Below: English text. Here is one of the insect pictures from previous day. Humleflua is one of the snodigste insektene I know of. It is like a pelsdott with fasettøyne and a sugesnabel too long. But fun to photograph. Relatively fearless, and with the ability to stand bomstille in the air like other hoverfly. I didn't catch the sjans to flush, so I satsa sitting quietly by a mouse and hope that the tussilago farfara stuck in. It is angry with me a little bright straw in the background. They hear the with in the spring, but this image could very well have been a bit without luket had gone beyond the subject. Many times, Jeffrey. :-) This time I observed them around a field of flowers and just sat down. Seemed to work a lot better, as they eventually made it round to my side of the patch. Didn't have to wait too long either. First one came after somewhere between five and ten minutes. Thanks everyone for commenting. I agree the background is not good for this subject. Just a few more days with good weather now, and we'll have some sprouting green strands in the background.
