Yeah I agree about that way oof leaf at the bottom. Would probably think of
cloning it out if I were going to use the photo for anything more.

Or not, I don't know. Don't like to clone. Sometimes necessary though.

Thanks also to Mark and everyone else who commented.

Bird nicely shot, crisp and sharp--that bit of green at the bottom is a tad
distracting--but that's a minor nit. Overall, nicely done. Cheers, Christine

She's a "she" (see the SL). ;-)

And while the beak is open what's coming out ain't singing. Red winged
blackbirds can mimic other birds but much of their vocalization consists of
angry squawks.

She was letting me know she didn't want me there. Kept her distance but kept
squawking while she flitted around me (but not too close), trying to get me to
leave.

I don't blame her. ;-)

Thanks for the comment, Bruce. And thanks to everyone else who looked and
commented.

Cheers,
frank

It's great, Frank. Good profile, he's singing, excellent colour and
detail. The blueness should be a simple WB tweak, but I like the
pastel colour as-is, myself.
