Re: PESO - Lake Shore Boulevard
I agree with Gerrit about the 50s. Interesting how that happened. Re: PESO - Lake Shore Boulevard
Yeah I noticed that single streetlight. And I liked it. :-) Thanks for the comment. And thanks to all who looked. cheers, frank On 14 March, 2014 12:21:50 AM EDT, David Mann wrote: >On Mar 14, 2014, at 4:17 am, knarf wrote: > >> Weird street. In some places it's Lakeshore. RE: PESO - Lake Shore Boulevard
The Long Branch portion of Lake Shore Blvd. is particularly anachronistic to my eye with it's diagonal street parking to go along with the streetcar tracks (barely visible under the snow) and overhead wires. Thanks for the comment. Cheers, frank On 13 March, 2014 11:47:43 AM EDT, Gerrit Visser wrote: >Gives an effect making it look like it was in the 1950's. >And yes, it is a weird street. RE: PESO - Lake Shore Boulevard
Gives an effect making it look like it was in the 1950's. And yes, it is a weird street. Quite different appearance along the length of it, from Humber to Port Credit. My dad used to ride the street car from Long Branch to Bathurst in 1953. PESO - Lake Shore Boulevard
Weird street. In some places it's Lakeshore. Others it's Lake Shore. In Long Branch I think it's the latter.
