Re: GESO: Glass blower
Thanks Rick, I know I have some editing to do. The piece went into a cooling box and will get some finishing touches. The buyer promised me some pictures next weekend when he picks it up. He also has some Point-n-Shoot images from the first steps. He forgot his real camera and was very pleased for the pictures. Regards, Bob S. Nice, Bob. You could edit out about 2/3 of them, though, because there are often several pix showing the same step. I was also hoping for a clean shot of the finished product. Re: GESO: Glass blower
Thanks Dave and Christine for checking. Dave, glass blowing looks very interesting. This guy was originally a hairdresser with a shop employing 17. He sold some glass objects in the shop and got into it. Now he has 2 sons doing it and a grandson. The pieces are facinating and pricey. Here's a link. http://www.lottonglass.com/ Regards, Bob S. Re: GESO: Glass blower
Bob. Great set of photos. This brings back some good memories., I visited a park, i forget the name, in Sweden in 1976, and they had glass blowers working as they would have 2-300 years ago, I was so intriged, i went and watched them every day for two weeks, I found a College in Mississauga that had, and i think still does have, a night class in glass blowing. I took the glass, and it was the most fun i had over a 10 week period i have ever had. I still have all 10 pieces i made. Thanks again Bob Dave On Sun, May 18, 2008 at 2:03 PM, Bob Sullivan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Here's a series I took yesterday at Lotton Glass's open house. > > http://picasaweb.google.com/rf.sullivan/LottonGlass > > Sorry it's so long. > It tracks a vase from (close to) start to finish. > It materializes before your eyes. > > I'm too close to it now to give it a critical review. > Let me know what you think. > > Regards, Bob S. > > -- > PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List > PDML@pdml.net > http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net > to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow > the directions. > -- Equine Photography www.caughtinmotion.com http://brooksinthecountry.blogspot.com/ Ontario Canada -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
