Re: [Phono-L] Donley Phono Auction - Sat. March 18
The horn is nicely refinished with new decals. There is a black band around the bell portion about 4 inches from the rim. Overall, a nice machine. -From: "john9ten via Phono-L" To: "Antique Phonograph List" Cc: "john9ten" Sent: 17-Mar-2017 21:22:04 + Subject: Re: [Phono-L] Donley Phono Auction - Sat. Also, I've heard that some people were concerned that the Idelia Spruce horn is not original. It is original. And it is correct for the rare Edison Spruce horns to have a blonde finish inside, and a dark finish outside. Randy and another collector agree with me that this is an original horn.
