[PHP] PHP3 + Sessions?
I was wondering if there are any functions in php3 that would allow me to play with sessions. In the docs at the php site, most if not all the functions they have listed there were added in php4, but my server is still setup with php3. Any help is appreciated! Sean Kennedy

[PHP] Where can I learn?
Hello everyone, I know the basic basics of PHP that I learned from the PHP 4 Bible book, but I would like to learn ALOT more. I'm going to continue in my book, but does anyone have a suggestion on where to learn more? Is there any very experienced PHP programmer out there who has MSN Messenger? [PHP] Installation on win32
Ok, I am trying to install php4 on a win32 system as a module for apache. I
have followed all the instructions for both apache and php. Now, when I
load up a page, it is blank, and when I view the source, I see my php file.
For example...
?php
/*index.php*/
echo ('Hello');
?
Now, when I load this in my browser, I see this as the source, but nothing
displays on the page. Anybody recognize this? Can anybody point me in the
right direction?

Nah, I have windows showing me the extentions, so that wouldn't be a problem. (Though I checked, cause you never know...) And I restart apache. Actually, I restarted my machine, no dice. This is driving me crazy. I have followed the instructions TO THE LETTER. Several Times I might add. I just can't get this to work. GAARRRG! Sorry, had to let that out... -Make sure you do not have a hidden file extension of *.txt on the end of -your script. If you don't, then the problem is in httpd.conf, or you -didn't restart Apache after making changes to httpd.conf. -Sounds silly, but that ol' hidden file extension thing gets people ALL -the time. I have done both of these things, as they are in the instructions. In the
installation file, it lists the lines that need to be added to the
htttpd.conf file for apache, and these are the lines. Anything else that
needs to be done?
(BTW, I appreciate the help)
You will also need to add this for the module
LoadModule php4_module "c:/php/sapi/php4apache.dll"
