[PHP-DOC] Disabled builds
Hi all I went quickly through the br0ken build mails just now, and have disabled several translations on docs.php.net (CCed). There were few more with br0ken builds, but those translations seemed relatively active so I hope someone will fix them soon :) To get back into the buildcheck (and online on docs.php.net), just let me (or Philip.. or anyone else with access to docs.php.net) know. As of now, the following translations are built (currently, every 6 hours) and pushed online on docs.php.net: en de es fa fr ja kr pl pt_BR ro ru tr zh -Hannes

With the availability of the online editor, we are making it much easier than in years past for folks to work on the project but we need to show them how easy it really is to get involved. Then, if it's a matter of a broken build, the folks who are more involved will have less on their plate, and perhaps may not feel quite as overwhelmed at the size and scope of the amount of work required to translate the manual. Hannes, maybe we could get a few folks together to put together a simple YouTube video of how easy it is to contribute to the project. From what I hear, social media and video is apparently pretty popular. ;-P -- /Daniel P. Brown Network Infrastructure Manager Documentation, Webmaster Teams http://www.php.net/

Yannick did at somepoint do a screencast on the OE (can't find the link quickly searching the archives though..).. There are a lot of ideas, the bottleneck is actually executing them :) -Hannes

Y'know except for the Arabic and Asian language translators, and others who don't observe the calendar the same way. -- /Daniel P.
