I also have the same no-workie behavior w. the play buttons in the default skin. The XM plugin, however, works 100% in the classic skin. You can also save your favorite XM stations you like as Squeexebox favorites and they'll play in the default skin. -- TechHome TechHome's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2340 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=52103 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Cdplayer Plugin and DTS CD
Actually, these DTS cds are just like Red Book Audio except with DTS instead of PCM encoded in the tracks (i'm not sure i'm technically correctly expressing myself). There is a thread on these forums on ripping these DTS CDs to flac and then having the SB2 or SB3 passing the data to the digital output: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=24714 I guess it could be possible to have cdda2wav convert to flac before sending the stream to the SB3... in fact, I'm trying it right NOW!! [SlimDevices: Plugins] Help, please. Inguz has taken over my SB2
Running 7.2 in XP, I was able to install Inguz, and today tried to use it to do room correction. I first ran pink noise, and it worked fine, recording with Audacity. I proceeded to the sweep tones, and had a problem with Audacity stopping, so no success there. No problem, I'll just listen to music for a while. No. No matter what I do, I cannot play any music from my Squeezecenter music library directly. No matter what I do, it plays the sweep tone. I've stopped and started the SB2, I've stopped and restarted 7.2, I've unchecked the EQ plugin, restarted 7.2. I've done hard reset on the SB2, unplugging it and starting from scratch. No dice, no matter what I select from the music library, it will briefly display the title, then display and play the sweep tones. Here's another strange aspect: It will run Squeezenetwork, and it will sync with a SB3 in another room, playing whatever is playing on that box from the music library in 7.2 running on the host computer. Is the SB2 hosed? Is it overriding whatever I'm trying to do, and instead calling for the (unchecked, and thus non-functioning at this point) EQ? Needless to say, this is driving me crazy. Any suggestions? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: xAP Plugin v2.2.0 for SqueezeCenter v7.x
I've managed to revert to 7.2 without breaking everything. xAP control via BSC and audio.transport is working again, so that was all down to the nightly. BSC control from Floorplan is still broken. It's definitely the id= as sent by floorplan. I'm not sure who's wrong here, for this particular player the id is 0002 as sent by floorplan (should that be 02?), but the plugin doesn't respond to 02 or 0002, only *. Minor bug: If a player is in an off state and playback is resumed from an audio.transport message, a xapbsc.event message is not generated to indicate that the player has switched on. The following xapbsc.info messages also remain in the wrong state. -- vworp vworp's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=8279 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=52645 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: xAP Plugin v2.2.0 for SqueezeCenter v7.x
A problem with 7.2.1 squeezecenter nightly. The plugin doesn't translate BSC state commands to players, audio.transport commands aren't being acted upon either. So, no on/off/previous/next control from xAP. With the xapbsc.cmd state messages, although the players never change state, xapbsc.event messages are generated indicating they have. I suspect this problem is cause by my using a nightly release. I can always pick another one up in a few days. I'm testing xapbsc.cmd messages from OPN-MAX. James, Floorplans generated bsc messages don't appear to work at all for squeezecenter, something to do with id= being correctly set, OPN-MAX auto wildcards to id=*. Do you see this behaviour too? Edward, is the squeezecenter plugin case sensitive to xAP messages? The ID= key in xapbsc.cmd messages seems to work when wildcarded, id=*, but not when targeted to the correct sub address eg id=02. -- vworp vworp's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=8279 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=52645 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
