Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
Whatever was the reason, but deleting the database followed by a rescan solved the issue. Maybe something went wrong during the first scan. Anyhow, now it works. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
If I do a single click on e.g. the first title of the album, I get the following screen: [image: http://up.picr.de/29995160ya.jpg] The title doesn't play. If I click long on the title and choose "Play", the title starts to play, but just this title and not the album. On my iPad where iPeng is installed as well it's just the same. The Squeezebox Controller bevaves normally and plays the album when choosing the first title. As I got a new desktop pc as well with a fresh installation it can of course also be that there is something wrong with the settings in the Squeezebox Server but I have no idea what as the controller works fine. Very strange... ---- StephanG2312's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=19716 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
Dear all, after getting a new iPhone (7) I decided to start from the beginning on again and not to set it up by the backup. So I also installed iPeng 9 again freshly. Now the problem is, that I can't playback any album. Also tipping on a titel (the playback "triangle" in the album column is active of course) doesn't play the title. Only when I tip long on a title and choose playback in the popped-up menu the title will play. On the previous iPhone I didn't have that issue. iOS is the most current one. Thanks and Brgds Stephan ---- StephanG2312's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=19716 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
Could somebody please explain to me where is the big difference between iPeng 7 and the old version? I bought the new one because it was offered as a complete new Version but all I see for the moment is the old Version with a new look. Maybe somebody is so nice and explains why I paid 6,99 once more. Hope, the answer is not because I am stupid a paid for a simple update! pippin wrote: [url]Where did you find that? It's not a completely new Version, it's still a remote control for Squeezeboxes, not a photo App or something. The announcement points out that it's a new App which means you have to pay for it and don't get a free update. As you know, there is no update pricing on the App Store and after over 5 years and 51 free updates we had to sell this one again. Let's face it: there are no new customers so if we want to justify all the work going into it (over 400 new graphics, alone), we had to charge for it. That was mentioned in the Screen that opened, when I started the old Version today. Sorry for being opposite to the broad mass here which seems to be always happy with everything, but for me that's a little, let's say tricky and a kind of grey zone. When I read the Screen which I mentioned I expected to get a new Version completely different to the old one (that it's not a photo Software I guess I know) including USEFUL new features. Now I'm very disappointed that I paid IMHO for nothing. All is fine and I stay calm and will not act against it (what should have legal success, I assume (Unlauterer Wettbewerb!)) but I learned to be more careful with wrong promises next time. Please spend my money for useful things... StephanG2312's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=19716 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Yes, it's the current Version. In my case it's the Christmas Classics channel on 181.fm. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
Hi, using 181.fm just for the Holidays. Compared to last year's season they show now covers for each track. When playing it with iPeng, the cover of the track which is currently playing is shown but then it stays even if the next track is playing. In Squeezebox Duet it's working fine but not in iPeng. Any idea? I've got two WiFi networks here and while both work for remote control and for browsing, one is not stable enough for streaming (not only with iPeng). Also, iOS 5 didn't really get better here. For example I can't get eyeTV to get a stable stream anymore on iPad whatever network I use... Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
Hi, after a lot of trouble afterwards the release of 7.6 I decided not to play beta-tester for Logitech anymore and downgraded to 7.5.5. Also I discovered iPeng on my iPhone 4 as a much more comfortable and reliable client than the Duet ever was. The Duet now is just working as a digital clock in my bookshelf. Anyway, my problem with iPeng is, that when using the Playback function, from time to time WLAN quits for 1 sec and the actual title is played again from the beginning. When I use WLAN for surfing or downloading, the WLAN connection is stable, it only happens when using iPeng. There is no fixed sequence, it happens between each 1 minute up to 10 minutes. When I control the Duet player with iPeng, I don't experience this problem, only during playback. Any idea? -- StephanG2312 StephanG2312's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=19716 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
