[political-research] Kalifornia Dreamin' (A False Flag Fire Drill)

2007-10-31 Thread Captain May
Kalifornia Dreamin'
  A False Flag Fire Drill

  By Captain Eric H. May
  Military Correspondent

All the leaves are brown and the sky is gray,
I've been for a walk on a winter's day,
I'd be safe and warm if I was in L.A.,
California dreamin' on such a winter's day.
-- The Mamas and the Papas

Ashes were falling like snow across Southern California last week, as the
Santa Ana winds blew in to fan the flames and a heat wave bore down. It was
hot for everybody, no matter where they were; but for those fighting the fires
it was hotter than hell. Folks wept at their losses and lamented that their
beautiful landscape had become a desolate moonscape.

The fires started on Sunday, Oct. 21, and they encircled their principal target
of San Diego with military precision. You can't fault people for feeling like
they're under attack when a natural disaster hits them. As the week wore on
and the flames burned on, disturbing facts began to emerge to show that their
feelings were right.

  Cold-Blooded Arson

“Whoever did this knew what they were doing,” said Kris Concepcion, a fire
authority battalion chief. Multiple witnesses attested to multiple fires being
set by arsonists to attack targeted areas. Police shot and killed one alleged
arsonist who was trying to make a getaway. Fox News lead an infowar campaign
to attribute the arsons to Al Qaeda, the ubiquitous Bush League bogeyman.

By the end of the first week, though, there was no evidence to support the
claim that bin Laden's buddies had torched dreamland. This would not do at
all. There must be a criminal for every crime, else the people will begin to
ask uncomfortable questions about just who the criminals might be. Politicos
and Presstitutes searched for an appropriate patsy, and reasoned that if the
incendiaries couldn't be little brown Muslims then they must have been little
brown Mexicans, who were a pretty close match in the public mind.

It was too little too late, of course. The Internet cat came yowling and
scratching out of the mainstream media bag, despite their best efforts to
contain it. Now, on the 10th day since the advent of the fires, cybersleuths
have exposed the Fox Al Qaeda stories as warmed over propaganda from 2003 FBI
sources. Likewise, they have networked the information that California fire
stations were reporting professional efforts to gather intelligence on their
layout and operations during the summer.

  Hard-Boiled Facts

Call me a cynic if you must, but it's never easy for me to accept the pat
answer to any complex question. I oppose historic official stories blaming the
Christians for burning Rome, the Jews for burning the Reichstag and the Muslims
for burning the Twin Towers. Accordingly, I also oppose the current official
story blaming the Mexicans for burning California.

One fact stares at me through all the smoke and mirrors. The fires began
only hours after a border fracas between Turkey and Iraqi Kurds ended with
dozens dead and a nation of Turks crying out for a punitive invasion. While
California cooked, the government of Turkey authorized war, then mobilized and
massed its forces against Northwest Iraq. There was an uncomfortable
possibility that they would attack under the pretext of rooting out terrorists,
then take over oil resources. All of this was fine historic irony, of course,
since four years ago, Turkey refused a substantial US bribe in exchange for
permission to use its territory as a staging area for an attack to root out
terrorists, then take over oil resources.

It required something very gripping to distract the American people away from
the spectacle of our collapsing central front in the war on terror, something
like a San Diego sideshow, perhaps. The Bush League has always been lucky when
it comes to catastrophes. Without 9/11 they never would have had an excuse to
initiate the Global War or implement the Homeland State, two projects they had
already envisioned and planned for before Bush assumed the presidency.

The Germanator and the Burning Bush

I appreciate the leadership of Governor Schwarzenegger. I said earlier when
we were at the neighborhood, there's no hill he's not willing to charge, no
problem he's not willing to solve. -- George W. Bush, standing beside Arnold
Schwarzenegger

I'm guilty of yellow journalism for labeling Arnold The Germanator. He was
born in Austria, after all, and I know that quite well. But then again, Hitler
was born in Austria, too. If the jackboot fits, then Arnold must wear it.
It's impossible for me to see any leader standing in a fire zone beside our
cheerleader in chief and not think of them both as a couple of Neo Nero's,
fiddling with torches.

Seeing all of this destruction this week has been saddening, but at the same
time I have to say it also has been very inspirational, because we have seen
how people have

Kucinich: 'I did' see a UFO

by Mark Silva
Rep. Dennis Kucinch of Ohio was asked this during a debate of the Democratic
candidates for president tonight: Has he ever seen a UFO?
The godmother of your daughter, Shirley MacLaine, writes in her new book
that you've sighted a UFO over her home in Washington state,'' the questioner
asked, that you found the encounter extremely moving, that it was a triangular
craft silent and hovering, that you felt a connection to your heart and
heard direction in your mind.
Now,'' Kucininch was asked, did you see a UFO?'''

I did,'' Kucinich said.
And the rest of the account -- I didn't -- I -- it was unidentified flying
object, okay. It's like -- it's unidentified. I saw something.
Now, to answer your question,'' Kucinich said, 'm moving my -- and I'm

more -- that Jimmy Carter saw a UFO, and also that more people in this country
have seen UFOs than, I think, approve of George Bush's presidency.''
Questioner Tim Russert replied: 14 percent of Americans say they
have seen UFOs.''
In the post-debate interviews, Gov. Bill Richardson of New Mexico said he is
happy to promote tourism in Roswell, but he has never seen a UFO.

9/11 Related Alternative News by Kevin Fenton on 10/31/07
Good on MSNBC for asking the question. The article begins:

When al-Qaida's media arm released its first Osama Bin Laden video in
nearly three years, most of the media attention was focused on Bin
Laden's beard. It appeared either dyed -- or perhaps even pasted on. He
was ridiculed and a variety of theories were offered to explain it.

But now, there is a running debate among video analysts about whether
al-Qaida faked the video altogether --that rather than being new, the
September 7 message may have been something recorded at the same time
as his last video in October 2004 (and then released with new audio).

There's only three things he mentions in a sentence -- a noun, a verb,

2007-10-31 Thread Sean McBride

Sent to you by Sean McBride via Google Reader: Elements of
Argumentation via Amazon.com: artificial intelligence in Books on
10/31/07 Logic-based formalizations of argumentation, which assume a
set of formulae and then lay out arguments and counterarguments that
can be obtained from these formulae, have been refined in recent years
in an attempt to capture more closely real-world practical
argumentation. In Elements of Argumentation, Philippe Besnard and
Anthony Hunter introduce techniques for formalizing deductive
argumentation in artificial intelligence, emphasizing emerging
formalizations for practical argumentation. Besnard and Hunter discuss
how arguments can be constructed, how key intrinsic and extrinsic
factors can be identified, and how these analyses can be harnessed for
formalizing argumentation for use in real-world problem analysis and
decision making.

The book focuses on a monological approach to argumentation, in which
there is a set of possibly conflicting pieces of information (each
represented by a formula) that has been collated by an agent or a pool
of agents. The role of argumentation is to construct a collection of
arguments and counterarguments pertaining to some particular claim of
interest to be used for analysis or presentation.

Elements of Argumentation is the first book to elucidate and formalize
key elements of deductive argumentation. It will be a valuable
reference for researchers in computer science and artificial
intelligence and of interest to scholars in such fields as logic,
philosophy, linguistics, and cognitive science.

(ATT) via Amazon.com: smartphone in Amazon.com on 10/29/07 The slim,
pocket-sized ATT Tilt smartphone is bursting at the seams with a
full-menu of wireless capabilities to keep you connected wherever you
roam on this globe--quad-band GSM for global roaming, Wi-Fi, EDGE, and
3G data connectivity via ATT's UMTS/HSDPA-based BroadbandConnect
network. Practical and versatile, the phone's face slides open to
reveal a full QWERTY keyboard while the screen tilts for optimal
viewing of email, spreadsheets, and web videos. It also adds the power
of the Windows Mobile 6 operating system (Professional Edition), which
provides push email for immediate send and receive as well as editing
of Microsoft Office documents. (See more details about Windows Mobile 6
below.)
With its high-speed 3G network capability, you'll be able to access
ATT's Mobile Music and Cellular Video services, and the phone includes
the latest version of Telenav GPS Navigator for turn-by-turn directions
while on the go. One of the most powerful, feature-packed smartphones
on the market, the ATT Tilt also includes a 3-megapixel camera (with
video capabilities), Bluetooth connectivity with stereo music streaming
and multiple connection capability, MicroSD memory card expansion up to
4 GB, and a variety of games for when you need a break (including Tiger
Woods PGA Tour 07 and Ms. Pac-Man).

The ATT Tilt is a veritable wireless Swiss Army Knife, with quad-band
GSM, tri-band 3G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity as well as a GPS
receiver. ATT Service
The ATT Tilt can handle high-speed data connectivity via ATT's 3G
mobile broadband data network, which is available in most major
metropolitan areas. The ATT 3G network uses the UMTS 850/1900/2100
network (also known as WCDMA), making it possible to enjoy a variety of
feature-rich wireless multimedia services with speeds up to 3.6 Mbps.
It also gives ATT the advantage of offering simultaneous voice and
data services. You'll also enjoy 3G broadband speed connectivity across
the globe with tri-band UMTS/HSDPA capabilities, which allows the Tilt
to operate in Japan and Korea, in addition to the more than 135
countries in which ATT offers international data roaming.
In areas where the 3G network is not available, you'll continue to
receive service on the ATT EDGE network, which offers availability in
more than 13,000 US cities and along some 40,000 miles of major
highways. Providing average data speeds between 75-135Kbps, it's fast
enough to support a wide range of advanced data services, including
video and music clips, full picture and video messaging, high-speed
color Internet access, and email on the go.
With 3G connectivity, you'll be able to access ATT's Cellular Video
(CV) service and the Internet while on the go. Cellular Video features
content from CNN, The Weather Channel, iFilm, Comedy Central and
exclusive premium content from HBO and much more. It also features ATT
Mobile Music, which provides access to Napster and eMusic subscription
services as well as Music ID song-recognition software, music videos
and The Buzz music news portal. The handset is XM Radio Mobile-capable,
so you can enjoy streaming live digital radio as well. (An ATT MEdia
Max subscription bundle is recommended for accessing ATT's Internet,
video, and music services.)

Like a micro laptop, the ATT Tilt features a full QWERTY keyboard and
a face/touchscreen that tilts up to 40 degrees. Phone Features
Akin to a micro laptop, the ATT Tilt's face/touchscreen tilts up to a
maximum of 40 degrees, and the variable screen angle can be positioned
to suit your needs, whether you're catching up on email, browsing the
Web, or playing a game. The QWERTY keypad offers roomy, rectangular
buttons that are tactile and backlit, making it easy to type with both
thumbs while on the go. The large 2.8-inch touchscreen has a 240 x
320-pixel resolution and support for up to 65K colors. It sports a 256
MB memory (not all user available) and a MicroSD memory card slot,
which is compatible with the latest 4 GB capacity.

[political-research] Re: [911TruthAction] 9/11 Video Fakery Prison Planet

2007-10-31 Thread Sean McBride
The main problem with the no-planers: vicious fanaticism and intolerance. They
have expended much more energy in attacking the most effective voices in the
9/11 Truth Movement than in going after the most likely suspects for 9/11. We
don't know that they are a COINTELPRO-style op, but we do know that this is
precisely what such an op would look like.

9/11 truth seekers should keep an open mind about competing theories concerning
the who, how and why of 9/11 until all the facts are in, and treat opposing
views with civility as part of the truth-seeking process. The no-planers have
attempted to disrupt and destroy this amity at every turn.

The HOW of 9/11 strikes me as a minor detail -- I am much more interested in
the WHO, WHY and what's next on the dance card in the campaign to instigate
World War IV.

The evidence that no planers are way out in left field is fairly overwhelming
and anyone who looks at thier evidence - objectively - can see this.
It seems that the rest of the Truth Movement is trying hard to either show the
no-planers some reason - mostly they wont listen - and since thier lineo f
thought does NOTHING but hurt the truth movement, I suspect this is why AJ
isn;t putting up with the garbage.
The whole theory does more harm than good.
Even if it is correct (and I havent seen any evidence save fuzzy video to say
it is) the no planers are doing more harm than good in trying to further the
movement. Even f they are correct, the believablility factor is such that
anyone who was on the edge of considering 9/11 as an inside job, immediatley is
turned off by this far out theory.

 I will second Andy Long.

My father was into conspiracy theories like the Money Masters. He was right
about a great many things, as I realized after he passed away. But
unfortunately, he had also picked up a couple poison pills.
He used to try like anything to win me over to the alternative viewpoint. I'd
listen politely, and he would make some yardage, but then he would mention the
Nephelin, the shape-shifting reptilians.
Well, a course in biology was part of my education, and creatures that can
change their shape between human and reptile are just too big a stretch.
My very strong reaction was to throw out everything else he had said and stick
with my mainstream vanilla conformity.
Decades of work out the window!

TV fakery might not even be as big a stretch as Nephelins, but if you have
tried as hard as I have to explain basic stuff like free fall speed and
explosive demolition, and see people rationalize, change the subject, appeal to
authority and every other fallacy in the book, instead of facing what's clear
as a sunny day, so that you still can't make a bit of headway - well, let's put
it this way:

It's so hard to get a day in court with the brainwashed public, that you
definitely want to present ONLY your best evidence when you get a chance to
make your case.

Any no-planers who are truely in this to help out and strengthen the movement
can see this - its obvious - so those who continue despite this fact are then
thrown in a catagory (correct or not) of disinfo artists - thier intent is
viewed as trying to hurt the progression, not help.
So, I imagine until the no-planers can step up with some evidence that passes
critical thinking tests, they will continue to be viewed as the 'bad guys' of
the truth movement.
Right or wrong, its how I read the situation.

[political-research] Re: [911TruthAction] 9/11 Video Fakery Prison Planet

2007-10-31 Thread Sean McBride
Consider Watergate and Iran-Contra: we discovered the HOW and WHAT of those
scandals after identifying WHO was behind them and then using the political and
legal system to squeeze the truth out of the perps. The only people who really
know the details of how 9/11 was executed are the people who did the deed.

Vigorous debate about the HOW and WHAT of 9/11 is valuable; getting locked into
a dogmatic position on this or that theory about any aspect of 9/11 before all
the facts are in is counterproductive, in my opinion. The towers may have been
brought down by controlled demolition, directed-energy weapons, mini-nukes or
some other means; I am not certain. But I am certain that we need a new
thorough investigation into every unanswered question about 9/11.

Planehuggers ARE the most likely suspects for 911 -- The ones who were
not killed were given positions in the coverup , like 911 Actor Perp
Gary Welz, who was repurposed as a 911 Scholar in the aftermath.

Fortunately he was confronted with his lies, and he recanted his
planeseeing abilities.
