but you will release it to the public at some point, right?? That would
be fantastic - a webmail client made by the same people that created
opensmtpd. That is probably something I could put my trust in.

And next is a proper IMAP server that can be easily plugged together
(or comes) with opensmtpd - a small and sane IMAP server as dovecot
replacement... one can dream...

thanks for the advise. I have raised my datasize-cur to 2560M and so
far firefox-esr hasn't crashed anymore. Even with 10 youtube videos
running at the same time. I will keep an eye on it, but it looks like I
have to change login.conf in the future again.

Thanks

2017-03-11 Thread lvdd

Hi,

I am running the snapshot from March 9 and got the lastest firefox-esr
52.0 yesterday. Unfortunately this new version seg-faults even with
light web browsing. Video watching is close to impossible. I am
running with the standard login.conf and have no elevated resources
assigned.

Is anybody else seeing this?

Thanks
Lars

thanks a lot for the pointer. I will have to wait for the package to
show up on my mirror, although it might be a good opportunity to try
this new proot-tool

I have now also a core file from a bus error. Maybe that gives some
more information. It needed 6 or 7 attempts to happen.

Thanks a lot for looking into it

Fw: browser trouble with latest snapshot

2016-05-30 Thread lvdd

Hi ports@

I have been asked to move this thread from misc@ to ports@. I am
looking for confirmation if this issue only appears with me or if it is
a general problem. BTW: firefox-esr doesn't have this problem.

Firefox starts up and is usable but crashes hard and leaves a
core-file when saving files to the filesystem. When I go to a random
website (e.g. openbsd.org) and use "Save Image As" on the puffy banner I
get the folder picker and as soon as I press "save" the browser crashes.
The image is saved to the filesystem though. This is what the console
shows:

 firefox-46.0.1 (installed)

firefox:/usr/lib/libsqlite3.so.32.0:
/usr/local/lib/firefox-46.0.1/libmozsqlite3.so.64.0 :
WARNING: symbol(sqlite3_version) size mismatch, relink your program

(firefox:40848): libnotify-WARNING **: Failed to connect to proxy
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

This also happens with an newly created profile. I sometimes get a "Bus
Error" instead of the Segmentation Fault. What's interesting is that it
only crashes when the file has to be created at first. Doing the same
process again with puffy59.gif already on my drive and just replacing
it does no harm to firefox.

Any hints how to debug this further to give useful information?

Thanks
Lars

 Hi Brian,

i have to get more comfortable with all that ports stuff before i become

Added NO_TEST = Yes to the Makefile.

Hi,

I built this yesterday on amd64. Seems to be running fine, although I haven't
used it too much yet.
I really ask myself why I didn't discover this piece of software earlier - never
heard of it before. It would have saved me so much work a year ago. Very excited
to see it in ports/packages.

Thanks a lot for bringing it in
