7.6 on a 3400?

2006-01-23 Thread Don Beck

Can OS 7.6 be installed on a 3400?

We're using older Sierra games which seem to conflict with later
operating systems.

Thanks in advance. Don Beck

Re: Need power AC for 180C

2002-10-15 Thread Don Beck

I don't have an extra AC adapter, but here are the specs and you may
find a substitute at a second hand store for cheap!

Output DC 7.5V 3.0A Tip Positive

My motto is:

Use it up! Wear it out! Make it do! Do without!

Good luck Liliana!

Enjoy life!!!

180c Repair Procedure

2002-10-11 Thread Don Beck
Greetings,

Having been a quadra user for over ten years I just got my first
PowerBook a 180c at a yardsale. It worked briefly and now gives the
chimes of death. In all my mac experience I've NEVER received the
chimes of death. I'm thinking because this puppy is portable it's
fragility is the culprit and something is probably broken and/or
loose. I love the thrill of fixing and am not averse to treading
uncharted waters. With this baby, however, I don't know where to
begin. How should I properly initiate my learning curve? I'm in no
rush and at 58 am always eager for new beginnings.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Because I'm wanting an economical flat panel monitor for a Q630.
Have limited depth at my work station. My neck is complaining that
45 degrees to the right has to go.
