1400 cs wireless OS 9.1

2002-12-30 Thread Dan Herd
Well I am new to the Mac world and recently got an aging 1400 cs as a
dead gift. I replaced the HD with a 1.7GB with OS 9.1 already
installed. It works well now, but for more than one reason I cannot get
a Orinoco Silver Wireless card to work with it. According to some onine
sites it should recognize the card automatically as an AirPort card, but
I can't even find Air Port on the computer, so I don't think this will
work.

I do not have a CD-Rom for it right now, either, which makes it
difficult to install anything, but I am hoping there is hope for the
installation of the wireless card, which would make it a great grab-n-go
computer for internet cafes and the like.

It has 60MB ram (yes, one coveted 48MB chip) but everything else is
plain. Any help with the installation of drivers would be appreciated.

Or if anyone wants to make me an offer, I will sell.
