Cannot retrieve mail 4.2b6
Well I followed the instructions sent by Jerome to be able to search. Now search works. But now I cannot retrieve mail for one of my accounts. I get the error message that the others are receiving when trying to retrieve. Strange. Any suggestions? Fred OSX 10.2.6 PM 4.2b6

I have updated to 4.2b6 and I still cannot use the search function. I have done all the rebuilds and sort indices. Still doesn't work. Fred OSX 10.2.6 PM 4.2b6
Rebuild Sort Indices? 4.2b1
This is my second request for assistance. I cannot use PowerMail since this has happened. >My computer froze today and I had to shut down manually by holding >down the power button. After reboot, when I tried to start >PowerMail I got a message that it was rebuilding the sort indices. >When that finished I received an error message: > >A database error occurred > >Class = DB ; What = 100; When = 9; err = 158 The rebuild does not work. Each time I try to open PowerMail it has to do a rebuild and then I get the same error message. >Any suggestions? > >Thanks, > >Fred > >OSX 10.2.6 >667 TiBook >768 ram >PM 4.2b1

I found it. I am trying to open the database but it is "rebuilding sort indices". Time remaining keeps going higher. It's at 1 hour 57 minutes currently (the database is 1.03 gb). I am hopeful that this will correct the problem and I will be able to use PowerMail again and have access to my emails. Fred --

Where will all of my emails be stored? I would like to at least try to copy the file so that I don't lose them. Fred PM 4.2b1
Re: DB failure -- 4.2b1
My computer froze today and I had to shut down manually by holding down the power button. After reboot, when I tried to start PowerMail I got a message that it was rebuilding the sort indices. When that finished I received an error message : A database error occurred Class = DB ; What = 100; When = 9; err = 158 Any suggestions? Thanks, Fred OSX 10.2.6 667 TiBook 768 ram PM 4.2b1
