Flo Tools 2.0 is here!

2016-12-24 Thread Slau Halatyn
Wow, it's almost as if it were a holiday gift under some type of non-deciduous
treeā€¦

Whichever way you want to look at it, Flo Tools 2.0 is here! What? Already?
Well, actually, the Flo Tools Team started work on version 2.0 as soon as Flo
Tools was first released. We've gone from 2 macro groups to 6 macro groups and
from around 120 macros to over 230 macros. There are several new features, some
small, some pretty big. Go on over to the Flo Tools web site at
http://flotools.github.io to read all about it on
the "What's New in Flo Tools 2.0" page as well as the updated Read Me section.
There's also an audio demo of the new Flo Tools Plug-In Views feature. We're
really excited to share this new version with all of you so go out there,
download it and go with the Flo!

The Flo Tools Team

Joy,
Go to the Keyboard pane of System Preferences and make sure to enable your f
keys. The checkbox for using f1, f2, etc. should be checked. that's probably
your issue.

I do hope that they use the collaboration feature in conjunction with voiceover
to make it more accessible.

The collaboration feature was introduced a couple of versions ago. They've
recently altered some of the requirements and limitations. I personally haven't
tried it.

Re: FloTools and latest PT

2016-12-24 Thread Slau Halatyn
Hi Joy,
Well, if the Edit window is at least open behind the Mix window and it's not
reporting the Start and End counters, it's not a problem with Flo Tools. You
probably have some other macros or shortcuts assigned in the OS. I'd check to
make sure that there are no other macro groups active with macros using
Command+1 and Command+2. I'd also go through the shortcuts tab of the Keyboard
pane of System Preferences to make sure nothing's assigned there either. Also,
did it ever work for you? Is this something that just started being a problem?
Have you installed anything else? Have you reimported Flo Tools macros without
deleting previous macro groups? Let's try to get to the bottom.
Cheers,
Slau

Hi Slau,
thanks for your reply. I followed every step in the getting started document,
but with no success. Speak beginning of selection, or speak end of selection,
simply won't work.
Any idea?
