Chris Portman I moved the state of this to "Ready for Engineering". (The "Ready for Review" state is really ambiguously named, and thus a source of confusion, but it's intended for "Merged and Passed CI, Needs Functional Review".)
Wrt to your pull request though, I'm hoping we'll get to that in this weeks PR triage on Wednesday.

Erik Dalén has suggested we use the 'environment' fact to aid with migrating existing facts to include the environment field. This sounds like a good idea, we should experiment with it.
We might also be able to consider using this environment data to migrate the other data for a node. At least the catalog should be correct, but since reports are historical these aren't as straight forward.

 It seems that some of our EC2 instances are not being cleaned up. We found almost 200+ instances in EC2 from us dating from March 18th. While I have manually removed these now, this is costing us a lot - needs to be fixed ASAP.

Starting today, I got:
Error: Could not retrieve catalog from remote server: Error 400 on SERVER: Could not intern from pson: "\x92" on US-ASCII  Warning: Not using cache on failed catalog Error: Could not retrieve catalog; skipping run
I spend 2h removing the " ' " from comments of my .pp files.
Turns out that the error is in facter: rubyversion => 1.9.3 serialnumber => System Serial Number timezone => Paris, Madrid (heure dÆÚtÚ) uptime => 1 day uptime_days => 1 uptime_hours => 31
timezone should be: timezone => Paris, Madrid (heure d'été)

The nodes endpoint constantly need to be special cased when constructing queries as the certname is called name there instead. This should change for the next API version.
