"Immutable" really just means "can't be edited by you in your current state". For instance, if you're logged out, *every* page is immutable (unlike Wikipedia, we don't allow anonymous edits). There are some pages that are legitimately protected (administrative ones), but I don't think this one should be. It has at the top "#acl All:read" - M-A, does this mean it's immutable to non-admins? (I can edit it.) And secondly, does it _need_ to be protected like that, now that we have editor restrictions elsewhere? Neil, sorry about the hassles here! You could probably do this: def irange(*args): return iter(range(*args)) The range object retains its endpoints, rather than creating all the integers up-front, so it has the efficiency needed for large ranges. If there's something that irange does and range doesn't, then feel free to describe that use-case on the wiki (once you manage to get an account). Anyone who's never made an edit and hasn't logged in within the past, say, 12 months is almost certainly inactive. I'd purge them in the interests of improving wiki performance. Any user in EditorsGroup has to either be kept (ie considered active), or removed from EditorsGroup. Otherwise, someone could create an account and instantly have editing access.
