You can create a tile index using the Raster > Miscelleneous > Tile Index
menu option. If you only have one image it should just give you one polygon.

Hi Folks,

Does the Image Boundary plugin exist for 1.8.0? Is there an alternative?

I’m looking to create a separate boundary file of for a raster image. I
know can be done manually but I’m lazy (and there are a lot non-symmetrical

Hi Szilard,
I premit that the plugin is not mine.
I've installed it using the zip downloaded from the repository and it
worked fine. I don't know what's going wrong for you. Have you tried to
completely remove the original plugin and replacing it, totally, with the
one unzipped from github?

[Qgis-user] SLD Style Conversion

2014-01-09 Thread Ofer Zilberstein
   - Operating System and version - WIN' 7 64x
   - QGIS version - Qgis 2.0.1
   - standalone-installer

Hi to all,

I created a style for line with borders (sometimes called “cased lines”).

I used:

1 - unit : Map Units (Meter)
2 - I used the rendering order to achieve the desired look.

I saved it as QML for reference. I also saved the style as SLD file, to be
used later with OpenGeo

When I reload the style to Qgis as QML - It preserve the rendering order as
well as the units !
When I reload the style to Qgis as SLD - It does not preserve the rendering
order nor the units !

It seems that there is a problem with the SLD conversion

Thanks

I got the same problem until I installed the fcgi package via OSGEo4W.
It was not installed by default. I assume you moved the required dlls to
the right folder as Anita's tutorial mentiones.

Executing the qgis_mapserv.fcgi.exe in a Command shell might give you a

Try the new TileLayer plugin. You have to create a tab delimitered .tsv
file with the url and extent. Once you got it working, you can switch

out of the blue I would assume it might be a problem with your data (GIS
