You are trained many hours on how to handle people that get out of control . It starts with verbal commands, then pepper spray, asp baton, taser then finally deadly force. Nothing in this case required the guard to resort to what he did. The fact the person was disabled and under 18 comes into play. He should have left the kid alone when things escalated. Spitting on the guard was a poor decision by the disabled kid, but he should have got away and cooled off then came back. The guard should be put on suspension upon further investigation. When you are a cop or security guard you are held at a high integrity level than a normal individual. This was just a security guard that didn't have enough training and let a kid pull his strings by spitting which led to some bad decisions.
