Re: [QUAD-L] Air in tires
Not with my back it wouldn't. I've got wicked bad scoliosis. June 12th I have an appointment to see an Orthopic surgeon because the scoliosis is so bad that it's starting to push my hip out. So much so that I can feel my hip bone poking out on my left side about 1/4" from the surface of my skin. Anybody else having problems like this? Re: [QUAD-L] Air in tires
I use a commercial inflator. It has a long chrome stem with top and bottom air outlets. Also you can go to the Auto Zone, Murray, Advance and several other suppliers for "tube extenders" and attach them to your tire tubes. They may be plastic, but they work great. Got a tire store like that right around the corner from me. They keep my van pumped. You might want to try solid inserts for your chair. Little bit bumpy but well worth it. Dose anybody, other than me, have air in their w/c tires? Pete was trying to put air in with two different pumps, a hand Bicycle pump and a foot operated pump but all that was happing was air kept coming out. He said that the stems are to short. [QUAD-L] Pressure mapping
Other than pressure mapping has anyone ever used wedges, holes cut in foam pad or a wood seat pan? Interested in hearing your experiences. GA
