Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] New Dimming Question (Manual) -- power saving dim?

2011-02-20 Thread m_ga...@hotmail.com

I seem to have the same issue here.

Brightess setting defaults to max upon controller restart. Is there a
way to make sure it doesn't do this and maintain my manual setting?

Thanks!
/M

Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] New Dimming Question (Manual) -- power saving dim?

2011-02-20 Thread Mnyb

I supposed you could turn off the automatic brightness.

Settings brightness brightness control manual .

And the use the manual brightness setting

But this does not actually work, the radio still has that behavior
thats it's slightly brighter when fiddling with it, feature or bug ?
(or both)

Btw
I think it actually saves the display itself .

Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] SB Radio: spontaneous resume after standby (after upgrade to FW 7.5.3-r9283)

2011-02-20 Thread alexlark

Very simular problem to the above. When I put my Touch in standby (just
clock showing) 20 mins later my PC with Windows 7 and Squeezebox Server
will go to sleep. Then the Touch screen will show cannot connect to
server and then my PC comes out of sleep mode! When the Touch is
unplugged my PC goes to sleep and stays in sleep mode.

[SlimDevices: Radio] Can't Connect flashes during play, sometimes stops it

2011-02-20 Thread GretelNick

Hi folks,

Happy, two-year-long run using my Squeezebox Radio.

Now it will flash Can't connect. Left to go back, right to try again
while it's turned or also during play ever two or three minutes. The
message normally disappears within seconds. Occasionally it will stay
long enough to interrupt play.

I just upgraded the firmware but still having the same problems.

Any ideas?

[SlimDevices: Radio] Wake to the radio?

2011-02-20 Thread rostasi

I thought I did my homework before buying this radio,
but is it really not possible to wake up in the morning
to a chosen radio station - like nearly all other clock radios in the
world?
It was a beautiful looking and sounding gift for my wife for Valentines
and our Anniversary,
but if it is unable to do a simple thing like waking you up with the
sound of a favorite radio station,
then I'm wondering what good is it?
What am I missing here?

Thanks,

Rod (currently in 7.5.3)

Mark any desired radio station as a Favorite, then you'll be able to
select it as the alarm sound.
