Hello Paul,

I had the same problem and was at my wit's end trying to figure out a
solution. I found, after many days, that my router's firewall was on
instead of off. Once I turned the router's firewall off all worked as
it should.

You may also have to adjust the settings of your security suite
firewall as well.

[SlimDevices: Radio] Connection reset by local host Error - Please Help!

Hi

I have just purchased and setup the Squeezebox radio. It fails to play
a number of Internet radio stations, which I can listen to perfectly
well on http://www.radiotime.com. Example is mms://62.220.122.10/payam 
or IRIB Radio Farhang, and IRIB Radio Javan (search radiotime for these,
and click play - they work on radiotime).

The error given by the Squeezebox radio is Connection Reset by Local
Host. I cannot play these stations on the radio, either directly, or
via mysqueezebox.com remote control.

Once again the stations are LIVE and working and can be listened to via
a web browser on any PC; I just can't listen to them on the radio with
the above error message. On my PC I have Windows XP with IE8 and
Windows Media player.

I have operated the radio both on a wireless and a wired ethernet
connection and the same error appears. On either wired or wireless
connection the radio works just fine on other Internet radio streams,
for example from France or the US.

Any help will be much appreciated!!
