Hi, I don't think this possibility applies to duet controller? I'm going bananas over this, as soon as I restar the controller or start playing a song, the brightness goes right back up to full again. Can someone please point me in the right direction here? I supposed you could turn off the automatic brightness. Settings > brightness > brightness control > manual . And the use the "manual brightness" setting But this does not actually work, the radio still has that behavior thats it's slightly brighter when fiddling with it, feature or bug ? (or both) Btw I think it actually "saves" the display itself . -- Mnyb Main hifi: Touch + CIA PS +MeridianG68J MeridianHD621 MeridianG98DH 2 x MeridianDSP5200 MeridianDSP5200HC 2 xMeridianDSP3100 +Rel Stadium 3 sub. Re: [SlimDevices: Radio] New Dimming Question (Manual) -- power saving dim?
I seem to have the same issue here. Brightess setting defaults to max upon controller restart. Is there a way to make sure it doesn't do this and maintain my manual setting? It doesn't go back to full brightness for me when the song title changes. It only goes back to full brightness if I push a button (or change the volume level). Or are you talking about playing local music files? I generally only play internet streams (like Sirius or Pandora). -- eap eap's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=32788 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=73433 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio

[SlimDevices: Radio] New Dimming Question (Manual) -- power saving dim?
Is there anyway to stop the player from dimming slightly after a few seconds. In other words, you are playing music and the now playing screen is showing the song title/artist, and then after a bit it dims a little. Why? There is no battery to save if its plugged in (it does this for power reasons on the duet controller, but I see no reason for that on the radio). Can the same brightness be kept all the time? I DO have it in manual mode for dimming (not auto). Also, this messes up manual dim settings for the clock screensaver. Unless I put the radio in "standby" by pressing the power off button, the same slight dim occurs when music is stopped or paused. I would like the same brightness/dim level for the clock whether in standby or paused/stopped. So can this "power saving" dimming feature be turned off (I don't see it in the menus anywhere). -- eap eap's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=32788 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=73433 ___ Radio mailing list Radio@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/radio
