1. Per suggestion in the earlier thread, I tried Juice, but had many problems with it crashing. I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium. 2. I explored Mediafly and it seems to have a lot going for it--lots of content and a direct connection to the SBR. So far, however, I haven't wrapped my wits around getting any personal stations, playlists, etc. set up. I've read their FAQ, but it seems to refer to options I don't get--like an option to add a show to a channel when I right-click on it. Doesn't appear for me. I want an easy way to reorder my rss podcasts -- it seems like the only way to do this is to delete them and manually re-add them at mysqueezebox.com -- am I missing something? Also, I'd like to be able to create directory hierarchies for podcasts -- is that something I'd do with an opml import? [SlimDevices: Radio] Newbie questions on playing/managing Podcasts on SBR
Hi, I've had my SBR for about a month now and am starting to feel more familiar with it, but I've still got plenty to figure out. For instance, I've got the Podcast Player installed and I've figured out how to paste a URL into that so whatever Podcasts are located there are available on the radio. What I'd like to now figure out is how to get some kind of client set up on my desktop where I can subscribe to Podcasts, organize/manage them, delete ones I've heard, etc., etc. AND have this available on the SBR. I see there is some integration between the SBR and iTunes, which, I believe has some Podcast management functions, but I REALLY don't want to install iTunes on my desktop. Is there a good Podcast client that I can install on the desktop and access from the SBR?If not, any pointers on how to get more flexibility from Podcast Player? I can't even figure out how to delete Podcasts that I've heard from the Podcast Player.
