Lowes, home depot, ace hardware, etc. Those are the big names, there may be 
some local chains in your area.

i have seen the fiberglass at home depot and lowes and it's too  heavy. i

just looked and the lightest i saw was 3.7 oz but the stuff i was  looking 
at before is 2.5 might not sound like much of a difference, but it shows  
when cornering. thanks anyway for the info Ron

Check under Industrial Fabrics. I see 0.58 oz, 1.4 oz and 2.1 oz fabrics 
available. Also, have you checked your local hobby shop or one of the 
online shops like Tower Hobbies? The model airplane guys use this light 
weight cloth, so do some of us boat people.

i didn't look under industrial because, well, it's industrial and  normally 
that means BIG, but i'll take a look see again later today when i sign  bac
k on, that 2.1 oz sounds good

[TANKS] anyone know of a source for light weight fiberglass cloth?

i always seem to only find heavy weight glass cloth either in the  
automotive stores or even in Home Depot. i am looking for the light weight 
stuff  
that looks like silk, very light weight, but great for doing hard corners 
inside  and out

i just inquired with the one E-bay dealer to see about just buying 1 yard  
length as it's 50 wide, more than enough for what i'll end up needing (i
