Have they doubled their prices yet to match ICM?

Too bad; crossing another crystal vendor off my list. Let's just hope they
don't swallow up West Crystal.

Have they doubled their prices yet to match ICM?

*** Well, the last crystals I ordered from Sentry in February for a MASTR II
were $9.95 each for 3 week delivery. The ones I ordered yesterday from
Sentry/ICM were $19.95 each for 3 week delivery. So, at this point I
would have to agree that yes, they have doubled their prices. ***

Too bad; crossing another crystal vendor off my list.

*** I have used Sentry crystals since 1971 and out of literally hundreds
of crystals I can honestly say I have had only one bad one and that was
caused by operator error. I soldered the ground lead to the wrong side of the
crystal case and destroyed the vacuum seal. Sentry replaced the crystal on a 3
day turn-around at no charge. Can't complain about service like that!!

I use ICM when I need the crystals temperature compensated and have never
had any problems with their service. $60 plus the cost of the crystal is a bit
steep but they don't drift in temperature extremes so I guess it's worth the
cost. ***

Let's just hope they don't swallow up West Crystal.

*** Haven't heard anything about that yet. ***

I don't care what any of you say. I've used Cal Crystal for 20 years and
have been quite pleased with the results.

I just found Standard Crystal on the internet, I thought they had closed.
Back in the two way days we used them and they were very good quality.

I too have fond memories of Sentry. Converted many surplus commercial rigs to
the ham bands using their rocks back 20-25 years ago. I don't recall ever
having
one go bad. 73,
