You can check Logging Settings to see what the path is, or to set it, and to
make sure logging is enabled.

Hi Ian,

That looks correct, except it will have to be "myrepository".

Can you check the Review Board log files and see what happens when you try to
add the repository?

Can you also check what the GitLab log files show are being accessed?

Re: Can't add a GitLab repository

2014-11-17 Thread Ian
It looks like this.

Hosting Service: GitLab
Service URL: https://gitlab.sd.mycompany.com
Account: [myuser]

Repository type: Git
Repository plan: Group
GitLab Group name: my-group
Repository name: Myrepository

For the repository name I've tried Myrepository, myrepository,
myrepository.git but none of them worked. This is the clone URL.
https://gitlab.sd.mycompany.com/my-group/myrepository.git

Re: GitLab repository Access

2014-11-17 Thread Christian Hammond
The GitLab path is based off the user/organization name and the repo name. You
either need to authenticate with root to add that repository, or try choosing a
Group plan and using "root" as the group.

GitLab repository Access

2014-11-17 Thread MoonWalker
I am trying to access one of our GitLab repos, this repo was created by
another user (root), and the user that RB is using have administrator
credentials. RB is not happy with this and display the following message A
repository with this name was not found, or your user may not own it.

Shall I make sure that the GitLab repo owner is the same user that tries to
access the repo on RB?

I know you're using GitLab now, but as an FYI, the built-in GitHub support in

Re: Can't add a GitLab repository

2014-11-17 Thread MoonWalker
Well seems to me that I found the issue. As you can see
here
https://16842630333084746086.googlegroups.com/attach/c9c0a27b5201bc26/Repository%20added%20in%20Reviewboard.PNG?part=0.3&view=1&vt=ANaJVrE7DQ7tZ_mE3cDRpYcfUEavd73DV6xJGmKj1E3J0ab2t2LwSgJQdbb2AVAauwS0XIZ5W--u484x7p6Stl2wVLxTTIEvUCmiyfhmr90JwtiEatF9_s4

. They are using the actual ip address of the GitLab server, I remember
that we have some issues with the DNS and it is not able to resolve the
address. This may be the same issue in your case.

Re: Can't add a GitLab repository

2014-11-17 Thread MoonWalker
You read my mind. I have exactly the same issue. Under Ubuntu 12.04 and RB
2.0.11. I turned on the debug, but there is not any info regarding this
issue.

Can't add a GitLab repository

2014-11-17 Thread Ian
I'm unable to add a GitLab Enterprise Edition 6.6.2-ee repository to review
board. When I try I get the error message "A repository with this name was
not found on this group, or your user may not have access to it.". If I
log in with the same username then I can see the group and repository so
I'm not sure where Review Board is failing. I tried the repository name
uppercase, lowercase, with and without .git but nothing work. Is there any
way I can get more information on the error, or is my version of GitLab not
supported?

First thing to try would be unchecking "Use TLS for authentication".
You're using ldaps:// for the LDAP URI, and a lot of LDAP servers will
not accept a STARTTLS request while on an LDAPS connection.

Re: Reg:reviewboard email and ldap configuration

2014-11-17 Thread suresh kamini
Hi Christian,

Reviewboard setup in ubuntu machine.

Here is the eamil settings

As per review baord tech note, i logged into review baord server as a admin
and enabled email settings

The above is the email settings.

Checked checkbox of send a test e-mail after saving, and cliks on save
button

Successfully receiving test email, but when i do review request no such
email notifications

What should i do, as i understood from tech notes some extra email
configuration required i.e DMK setup ?

Pls let me know what else you need

Regards,
Suresh
