It always came up with a window much wider than my laptop's 1280 screen width, and refused to let me resize it. The window was NOT maximized. That was running under KDE3. I haven't used it since moving from KDE3, though. -- David gn...@hawaii.rr.com authenticity, honesty, community http://clanjones.org/david/ http://dancing-treefrog.deviantart.com/ -- Monitor your physical, virtual and cloud infrastructure from a single web console. [Rosegarden-user] Bad screen size with dual screen/ radeon hd 5450
Hi. Using dual screen (set up by arandr/xrandr) with XFCE4 and debian wheezy, Rosegarden always open in the right screen (so not the main screen) when I start it. The logo appears on the main screen but the window in the second one (the right one). But the real problem is if I move the window to get it back to the main screen, the window size "exploze" to something like 100 measure! If I don't try that, but try to reduce it before, it's the same=>explose to 10mesure when I try reduce the window. The best solution I've found is to close up the window and restart rosegarden: it then appears always in the second window but now really reduce, so I can now move it to the main screen. See you.
